After enjoying a successful career as a teacher and administrator, Harry Grether is now spending much of his time writing and at speaking engagements. His vast experience in personnel and human relations, as well as in the field of disabilities, has provided him with much to share with others.
His family is a very important priority. His grandchildren, Nadya, Alex, and Dima, have been a very special and important part of his life. He lives in Midland, Michigan with his wife, Helen.
He enjoys swimming, golf, fishing, and other outdoor and fitness activities. Reading, writing, speaking, and volunteering also take up much of his time. His volunteer services are primarily to benefit children, the sick or elderly and hospice-related programs.
Harry’s personal life experiences have led him to believe that each of us faces some daily challenges, and sometimes larger personal struggles. It is without question that we can learn to deal with these and then move beyond them to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
“Genuine self-confidence and sharing a positive attitude with those we love and care about is within reach for all of us. No matter what our state in life, I truly believe that if we choose to work at it and make it a priority in our life, we can gain greater peace of mind and improve the quality of our lives.”
